Experience and discover the joy of dance! In this workshop, we teach various basics of contemporary dance. The starting point for our dance and artistic journey of discovery are the company's productions. We immerse ourselves in the respective movement languages, musical worlds, and choreographies of the participating artists. The workshops invite you to explore, connect with each other, try things out, and discover a new language of movement. We welcome all participants aged 14 and above and take into account different levels of previous experience and physical abilities.

Workshop to the new work of Emanuel Gat

This workshop focuses on the movement language of Emanuel Gat, guest choreographer for the 2025/26 season. In his powerful choreographic compositions, Gat explores the relationship between movement and music. His new work “Abschied” (Farewell) for the DFDC deals with two songs from Gustav Mahler's song cycle “Das Lied von der Erde” (The Song of the Earth). The workshop invites participants to get to know this movement language, try it out for themselves in various exercises, and explore it in the context of music.
