Neighborhood Get-Together

HELLERAU lives through encounters with diverse art forms and the different people we are privileged to count among our audience. It lives through its history of the visionaries Karl Schmidt, Heinrich Tessenow and Émil Jaques-Dalcroze and it lives through its neighborhood, which surrounds HELLERAU warmly and securely with its lush green gardens. However, HELLERAU exists above all through togetherness and the interplay of many differences, something which we want to constantly strengthen; preferably with you!

We therefore cordially invite you to a neighborhood get-together at the Festspielhaus. Get inspired by the creative and innovative approaches that will shape our program for the 24/25 season. Afterwards, we invite you to stay and in a relaxed environment, talk about art and culture in our district. We look forward to your questions, your murmurs and amazement, your suggestions and your willingness to engage in an open dialog.

Following the meeting, we will celebrate the premiere of the film “Rhythmische Räume” by Gerburg Fuchs. This special film sheds light on the ideas and visions of Hellerau, portraying the place itself and its inhabitants – both past and present.
