with Pigor
There’s a saying among Franconians: “Fünf Minuddn depperd gstelld spard d’r ofd a Stund Ärberd.” Thomas Pigor from Lower Franconia enjoys putting in an hour’s work with his wittily observed lyrics. Insanely productive, he writes revues, musicals, operettas and librettos as well as German-language adaptations of comic oratorios, for example “The Life of Brian”. Pigor’s life was characterized early on by his life as a street musician in the duo Knacko and Konfetti. It is not known whether as Knacko or Konfetti? This question, and perhaps also the secret of the 30-year cabaret relationship with Benedikt Eichhorn, will be explored in a stage discussion with Demian Kappenstein. Together with his colleagues Felix-Otto Jacobi (double bass) and Eren Solak (keyboard instruments), he provides the word juggler with a musical counterpoint of Italo house, noise and polka. What is circus, theater, improvisation or the underestimated genre of cabaret is still up to the audience!
