Saxony under National Socialism, Dresden under National Socialism: there are many studies and treatises on this subject. The garden city of Hellerau is often treated as a blind spot. But even in the supposedly idyllic garden city in the north of Dresden, the clocks did not stop; the years 1933 to 1945 shaped life there. Participants in the garden city tour will learn about the changes that took place, what was built, the fate of the Festspielhaus and much more.
